The Multispecies Sustainability Laboratory is a place to learn about, investigate, reimagine, experiment and play with ways of being in, co-creating, and caring for more-than-human worlds, today and tomorrow. Our journeys have included encounters with greenspaces, cities and landscapes, food and agriculture, degrowth and the imaginary, as well as art, games and speculative literature such as solarpunk. The lab is based in Matsuyama on the island of Shikoku (Japan) and part of the Department of Enviromental Design, Faculty of Collaborative Regional Innovation at Ehime University, but our ties reach from Aotearoa to the Netherlands and beyond.
マルチスピーシーズ・サステナビリティ・ラボラトリーへようこそ！本研修室は現在と未来、様々な生き物でなりたつ世界を楽しむ・共に創る・世話する方法を学び・調べ・新たに考え・試し・遊ぶ場所です。私たちの旅で、緑地・都市・ランドスケープ、食と農、脱成長と想念、そしてゲームやソーラーパンクなどのスペクラティブ・フィクションに出会ってきました。本研究室は四国の愛媛県松山市にあり愛媛大学社会共創学部環境デザイン学科に所属していますが、絆はニュージーランドやオランダまで広がります。
